All you need to know about Windows 11

 Hey there, Nerds!

Lurking around to see what's new in Windows 11? Well, we got you covered. We are going to discuss the new features of W11. So, without further ado, let's get into it.

Windows 11

 In the trailer video, they showed us a glimpse of what we can do with W11. Haven't watched the trailer yet? Click here ;

Here's what they show:

1. Touch screen, pen and voice

2. Microsoft store with android apps

3. Start and other pinned Icons are at the middle of the taskbar

4. Available with most popular manufacturers

5. Multi-tasking with multiple windows open at the same time

6. Widgets

7. New gaming experience (as they claim it)

1. Touchscreen, Pen and Voice: These bought the revolutionary change in past few years and changed the way how we use the tech devices. Well, these are available only on particular brand laptops while cost varies from one another.

2. Android apps in Microsoft store: We can say this is a new beginning for Microsoft. If you are a Windows user for a long time, you must get frustrated a lot of times knowing that you can not install apps like whatsapp, instagram, etc. You may say we have those apps available, but they are web versions of the actual applications. To put it simply, the apps are similar to the web page you access in a browser, they forget you after sometime and even you can not perform actions what you do in android.

3. Taskbar: Not everyone uses keyboard to open start, select apps, shutdown, open settings, etc. Most of us use the mouse to point out them. Here comes the pain, every time you want to access those, you have to look at the corner by tilting your head from the middle of the screen or move your eyes to get what you want. It becomes easy when you get the start and every other icon at the bottom middle of the screen without looking away from the application you are working on.

4. Availability: Well, we know most of the manufacturers give us Windows built-in. As far as we know, W11 is / will be available in the PC's manufactured by Asus, Acer, Samsung, Microsoft, HP, Dell, and more.

5. Multi-Tasking: We knew a  small trick to open two applications on a single screen in Windows 10 or earlier. But if we want more than 2 (Whose chances of using are 1 in a 100) we used to struggle minimizing, arranging them. But now, in W11, they are providing a few types of split screen to use multiple applications simultaneously. It's like Android's split screen but more than one app.

Also, if you have ever used Kali Linux; you must know about workspaces. If you haven't, worry not, we will let you know. You have a lot of work to do or have to access multiple applications and do not want to jinx all at once. So, using this workspace or Desktop feature, you can create multiple desktops with different tabs opened and can not share between them unless you want to.

6. Widgets: As we know the widgets in the android, the Microsoft has updated the name of tiles to widgets in this update by making them look larger and brighter. These are already available in previous versions of Windows. When you open Edge, you get news, weather info and more by scrolling down. This time, they added the weather widget to the taskbar and they claim you get the personalized news.

7. Gaming: No matter what the operating system is. Every gamer looks at the hardware like RAM, Graphic Card, Processor. Although, only a true gamer knows about this and we do not have to explain.

We have installed a developer version of W11 on VMware and ran it. It seems to be smoother than Win10. We will shortly post a video on how to download and install W11 on VMware in our YouTube channel. Please do subscribe our channel for more updates! The banner we are going to create on the terminal is created by using figlet tool in Linux; to do so; 1.Fire up a terminal in your Linux machine. 2. Type-In: " sudo apt-get install figlet " 3. Check for the type of shell by: " echo "$SHELL " 4. For the bash terminal: " /root/.bashrc"   5. For the zsh terminal: " /root/.zshrc" 6. Edit the " .bashrc " or " .zshrc " file by your favourite text editor (vim, nano, gedit...) and scroll down to bottom line of the file. 7. Now add a new line in the format: &q
